Marion Arts Festival has dreamy tenderloins

ImageI was asked to judge the Marion Arts Festival food, and honestly, I braced myself for the worst of the worst. I would have to say that it’s rare to eat something at a festival that is “delicious”. But I was honored to be asked, and it turned out to be a blast. Most specifically, because I spent two hours with Amy Skilling, someone else who likes to swear and talk dirty about food. So I laughed the whole time I was trying to find the “Best in Food”.

We ultimately decided on the Urb Garden as the winner. And I’ll admit, although maybe it’s not a big deal for them to win this award, to say their reaction was anti-climatic would be like saying David Beckham is easy on the eyes- a gross understatement.

Here’s the article about it.
